Our Curriculum

Attainment and achievement is something we take seriously. As a result, students’ progress, and levels of development will be monitored and recorded on a weekly basis. Our students progress is paramount to our organisation, hence the introduction of our online tracking service, which enables both students, parents and teachers to access, monitor and record levels of progression.

This will strengthen communication levels between parents and teachers which will support within their personal development.

It is the duty of every Muslim to read the Quran in the correct manner, with consideration for all the rules of recitation. We emphasise the importance of reading the Holy Qur'an in the best possible manner.

In order to achieve this, our main point of focus is improving the fluency in our student’s recitation. We emphasise on the teaching of Tajweed, giving your child the opportunity to perfect the recitation of the Holy Qur'an. 

As well as learning the Quran we believe our students should know the basic rules and regulations of Islam and utilise them within their day to day life.

As well as Fiqh, we include Aqeedah and Seerah modules (Life of the Prophet Peace Be Upon Him) so students can learn and follow in the way of the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).

In Citizenship, we teach students to understand and become good law-abiding British Citizens and distinguish the differences between Culture, Religion and Society.

As well as educating our students in citizenship, we also like to encourage them to live a life that is in accordance to the Quran and Sunnah. We believe this will enable them to conduct themselves appropriately in any given situation. 

Our primary school curriculum aims to meet the needs of your child through the delivery of effective and engaging lessons covering Literacy and Numeracy. We have fully trained and qualified teachers who have been DBS checked. If your child is in Year 2 or above, we believe now is the best time for them to grasp the foundations in order to better their chances of getting the best possible grades.

Our GCSE English & Maths tuition is to provide support for your child in order to ensure that they leave school with the best possible GCSE grade that they can achieve. Our lessons focus on exam content and skills which will match what they are being taught at school. We create extra opportunities throughout the year for your child to be assessed well in advance before they sit the actual GCSE exams. All staff are qualified and are subject specialists in English or Maths.

Here at Madani Academy we have the philosophy that “A healthy body is a healthy mind”. We believe sports and recreational activities play a very important role in the life of a young Muslim. They act as a deterrent from drugs and other such issues that are affecting our youth today, we use these activities as an incentive for students to work hard in their studies.

Our activities are: mentally stimulating, help to build student confidence, enhance communication and team building skills and are always conducted in a safe and controlled environment. We offer a variety of sports taught by qualified coaches, as well as offer regular outings and recreational trips.
